Welcome to the NaNDA News Page
Hello, and welcome to our NaNDA news page! Thank you for stopping by—we look forward to providing a glimpse into what we do and sharing updates about our work.
But first, a little about us. The National Neighborhood Data Archive (NaNDA) is an open data repository specializing in the relationship between neighborhoods and health. NaNDA was begun in 2019 by researchers in the Social Environment and Health program at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research. We aim to facilitate research for just about everyone, from students to researchers and community organizations to policy makers.
We will post every month to share information about new datasets, work from our researchers, and other NaNDA activities. And since we get excited when others use our data in their publications and presentations, we will share those here as well. In the meantime, you can follow and engage with us on Twitter—where you can meet our mascot Frankie Neighborhood and get updates as they happen.
We’ll be back soon with a deep dive into the datasets we already have (and ones we’re working on).
